"Bregman divergences for Exploratory Data Analysis"

I will discuss recent work on using Bregman divergences for different forms of Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) and show that the well-known Sammon mapping can be thought of as a truncated Begmanised MDS. I will also discuss Independent Component Analysis (ICA) and show how a Bregman version of Stone's continuity criterion can perform ICA.
